By Air
The closest international airport is Athens International Airport (ATH). From there, you can reach Olympia by car, bus, or train. Alternatively, Araxos Airport (GPA), 60 km away, serves limited regional flights.
By Car
From Athens, take the Corinth-Patras highway (E94) and follow signs toward Pyrgos and Olympia. The journey takes around 3.5 hours.
By Bus
Direct buses run daily from Athens and Patras to Olympia, operated by KTEL. Check schedules in advance at www.ktel-ilias.gr.
By Train
Train services connect Katakolo (a nearby port) and Pyrgos to Olympia, ideal for travelers arriving via cruise ships.
Once in Olympia, everything is within walking or cycling distance, making it convenient for all athletes and their supporters.
